9 Tips in Food (submit your own)

  1. Costco Northbrook

Janet C found 2 yummy Tnuva products: a sheep milk feta, and a 6 or 8 pack of chocolate yogurt.

  2. Eurofresh Market 16000 S. Harlem Ave, Tinley Park

I found Kedem brand kosher cookies at Eurofresh Market.
It is a nice sweet treat !

  3. Trader Joes Orland Park

Trader Joes in Orland Park carries a lot of Kosher products (chicken, beef, cookies, candies, wine, cheese, frozen food).

  4. Max Brenner's Chocolate Shops

Max Brenner is an Israeli-owned chocolate shop with stores in Israel, the United States, and Australia. It has created a unique “culture of chocolate” made up of huge bricks, candles, pralines, sipping chocolates, and colorful toy tins and crates filled with cocoa beans. It has also been the target of an especially nasty BDS campaign in Australia. The Australian said that the campaign “invited obvious historical parallels to the anti-Semitic targeting of Jewish businesses in 1930s Nazi Germany.” The battle for Australians’ soul is in high gear, with the usual suspects trying to damage any business that stands with Israel. Max Brenner is one that continues to do so despite the protests and attacks. You can stand with Max and give your friends and family some of the world’s most delicious chocolates. 5. Jewel Food Store the corner of Addison and Southport

Big store with underground parking. Decent Kosher food section. Small Kosher Meat set up with a butcher who is very accommodating (Tom). Medium sized Kosher frozen food section. For my nieces I bought Kedem Chocolate Tea Biscuits, Osem Vanilla Wafers and Paskesz Mini Bouchees (confetti sprinkled biscuits)! My 17 year old loves the Prigat Strawberry Banana fruit beverage.

Trader Joes carries Kosher chicken and they usually have challahs. Whole Foods stopped carrying Kosher meat but they have various items through out the store that have heksures and they always have challahs and Matt’s pareve cookies in a variety of flavors, ShaSha Co ginger snaps and Amy’s Organic Cheese Pizzas.

FYI most organic protein bars and organic food sections are kosher.

    Happy shopping!

  6. Trader Joe's Chicagoland area

Dorot (an Israeli company) makes herbs packaged in little cubes in the frozen section at Trader Joe’s. There is garlic, basil, cilantro and more. One frozen cube equals one clove of garlic….These are so convenient for cooking- easy, no mess, and inexpensive…. great product!!!!!

  7. Whole Foods Chicago at Weed, south of North Avenue and Sheffield

Halutza premium olive oil and Osem products, including soup croutons and Mediterranean pickles.

  8. Trader Joe Sheffield at Willow, Chicago

Store carries Dorot frozen cubes of garlic, basil and cilantro–very handy and fresh, always available in your freezer.
